And I think the next installment of this game will be even better. The graphics were hard to adjust to, however everything else was really fun about it. I liked how the story was being worked out in the game and I really enjoyed playing in the Dune Buggy. This had some great style (my favorite element) and I think the Interactivity was also pretty high. This deserves a front page nomination at least.
Great but...
It needs music. I can't survive on sound fx alone. It was a cool game. Side-scrolling shooter, lizard monsters, and some really cool background. It could use more indepth and challenging missions at the begining. Getting mauled by the lizards wasn't very fun either :(
Not Bad
Not Bad...I had some trouble with the framerate slwoing down. Also, why didn't the ammo hit the enemy just because the crosshairs were a little too far behind them. The ammo ought to hit them...even if the crosshairs aren't exactly on them.
Love it.
There are only a few things on Newgrounds that I truly love. This is one of them. Backgrounds were awesome. Trucking through the desert on a Heavy Tank gave me a vague feeling of glory and pride. Holding off hordes of lizards, walkers, and UFOs with a light and heavy tank by my side really conveyed a sense of camaderie in the midst of peril. AI was pretty good. I liked how the Dune Buggy slowed down for my heavy tank on the moon level (i think it was level 28). One thing irks me. Level 30 is impossible.

QONGALCHNZ is the level 30 code. That's all I'm telling you quitters. You are somehow marooned in a sort of underground cave area where literally dozens of lizard things pour at you. You have no vehicle. It's you and your shotgun against lizards, ufos, and those motherships. Seriously. This is HARD.

I liked the idea and the variety of vehicles but some of the sound got cut out.
