Although I can't stand Mortal Kombat or any of the remixes from the movies that were popular oh.... ten years ago, I have to say, you sold me after two minutes of the song. I can't insult your writing ability. You did some really incredible background work on this song and the themes transitioned very nicely. The original stuff in the song I liked the most. I just have an unfair bias against Mortal Kombat... The games lost their essence after 3 in my book, and the movie fad was cool for like... 2 years in my opinion.

it's all cool man :). i wrote all of the original stuff first and decided to add mortal combat a day later. so the original before mortal combat stands alone pretty good. Good vocal samples, but not my favourite

To be honest, this piece just screams at me some music that you'd thrown together as a decent track, but pasted the vocal samples over the top of to make it appeal to a target audience.

If you're going to do something like that, the best thing you could have done is to throw in your own voice, or someone else's of the round numbers, to take it away from the Morktal Kombat ties. I think that the quality of the vocal samples was good, but rather than overdo them, you should consider throwing them in only when they are needed. If you were going to use any of the MK voices, why not the shout of "MORTAL KOMBAT!"? That's the one that tends to be used in these things to the greatest effect.

Perhaps allow the music to come through a little more. The buildup was good and the pace increased nicely to reflect this. A little more focus on the music will certainly help here :)

not feelin it

it just doesn't have a good feel to it like i couldn't play mortal kombat to this, and thats what i look for in a video game remix. I respect that you put a lot of time but it just seems not mortal kombat-y.
hate to down vote it but it just seemed to disrespect the feel or mortal kombat.
