Just rewatched all the episodes in 2021, a special thanks to everyone who made the series! A true love letter to Sonic 3 and Knuckles and all the series involved it's so crackhead the fights and humor and attention to detail with the bgs used and effects used/made from scratch and the excellent music choices...great to use Devil May Cry tracks and ending with One Winged Angel was too epic :D And that credits that references the end of S3K...really well done
My childhood... this series has the most intense fights of all time in my opinion. DBZ and SMBZ just cannot compare. Summoning guns and ancient-looking swords out of nowhere while spamming thousands of energy blasts? Nothing can ever top that for me.
I would love to see LgdVegetto do more of these amazing DBZ-inspired sprite battles, but that will sadly never happen. Many series get left unfinished, but this one was able to have a thrilling conclusion.
SMBZ is always the talk of the town these days; this series never gets talked about. This series was one of the few that influenced SMBZ, so it deserves a lot more credit than it currently has. It (as well as several other vintage flash movies) did Mecha Sonic justice long before Mark Haynes did.
