1) These people feel it perfectly fine to have leaders who can override their legal processes. Look up the Iranian election! The vote was completely rigged, the religious leadership called for Harsh Punishment, AKA stoning and execution, for the protestors, yet the fact they have elections means they are not a theocratic state?

2) The religion is just fine with letting itself be used as a cover and a shield by people that will gleefully kill other Muslims.
