Reviews for "Behind the Magic"

Beyond the norm.

A great submission all around, deserving the front page. I am just sorry that some people make targets out of clock submissions, even if they are very good. I honestly loved it.

Graphics : Nine - Smooth drawings and tweens, good use of expressions with hands. The voice overs were PERFECT!!! Obviously you put effort into this.

Style : Ten - Never seen a clock submission like this.

Sound : Ten - Very good voicing. I liked the music going on as well. Seriously....really good voice acting.

Violence : Two - The two people blew up in the loading screen. Other then that, the most violent thing was Strawberry Clock thrusting his finger at Orange Clock. Maybe that is violent in grade schools.

Interactivity : One - You had a few buttons. This number doesn't really matter, because it wasnt a game.

Humor : Ten - Has to be the funny point in my day. The great voice acting really helped make this a great laugh.

Overall : Nine - A very VERY good submission. Thank you for taking the time to make this so everyone could enjoy this.

Goodluck in the future

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Thanks! I need some good luck in the near AND distant future.

As for anti-clocks... Like i said before... Watchagonnado?

Not Fucking Much, like Mark Chopper Read would say...

Anyway, thanks for the review and i hope to see more of you in my next submission(s).

lol

If all the clock stuff movies were like this I would love clocks! o(^_^)o

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Reason for which i animated this film as a ClockCrew member.

This once again proves my point: ClockCrew HAS some talent. I joined to show that even an author like me can get strange responses from the public when he has a "Clock" suffix in front of their name and work.

Thanks for watching!

ooh I like

I hate clocks. There's not much more to say.
But this my friend, is the first movie featuring clocks that I actually liked...if only more were like this.
Most people make a movie in a day, post it, and hope that is gets through the portal. Then all those no-brained clock follewers give it a five and it gets through. A couple days later its turd of the week because everyone else actually votes on it showing how crappy it is.
You are finally digging the clock crew out of this mess. If they could only learn from you, then people might actually praise the movies instead of shoot them down.

stoners-lunchbox responds:

I wish i could commend you ENTIRELY on that comment.

Unfortunately i can't, due to my nature of fairness. Most clock films you see out there (crap films) are made by fakes or by untalented SBC wannabes. The ones that are really good are released by actual "official" clocks once in a blue moon. I just joined now to prove my point. Not all clocks are bad. I'm a ClockCrew member and i'm not bad... Am i?

Say yes to that and i'll send Ratbag to dance on your grave!

LOL... Kidding... Thanks for the review and glad you liked my work!

It's Nice & All...

but, Where's Service Annoucement 2?

stoners-lunchbox responds:

I don't know. I think i lost it...

What on earth is wrong with me lately...

I'm trying to get it done, but i keep getting ideas for other toons. :(

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Whoa! That's what you think of the clock crew? They rule! Anyway, nice animation, especially the voices. Why did you add rap music? How did you get that speakonia voice?

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Okay, let's specify a few things:

I'm a Clock Crew member myself and i simply restated what Strawberry Clock's initial thoughts were about the Clock Crew "to be" saga.

Next up: I added whatever background music i saw fit. It was a coincidence that it just so happened to be one of my rap instrumentals.
Last, but not least: voices from Speakonia were originally from Apple's "Text-to-Speech" and "Macintalk" software. they've been a part of Apple's text editing programs since the dawn 8 bit sound cards and PlainTalk microphones. So yeah, i simply typed in a phrase and let the speech manager run it and record a sound file.

Well, thanks for watching!
