In response to ojika's review
First, the flash. Well done. Great animation and humor. I don't think this was a flash targeted at bashing christianity, just making fun of a guy who seriously misinterpreted it. F.Y.I., circumsitions are a jewish tradition and, while performed on people of all faiths for MINOR health benifits, it is not required in the christian faith, but since the main character is so misinformed it is understood why he would think that. Unfortunatly, the reviewer before me is also misinformed on the bible and history of christianity. It's OK to feel offended by something that mocks ones faith, but just understand the context and the intent. Dispite popular belief, The chrstian people ave the most tolorate atitude toward the critisism of their beliefs by other faiths and even people how claim the same beliefs. I notice whe browsing the "religion" section of flashs here at newgrounds, there were absolutle no flashes that did not have christianity as the subject. Not one. THis is because it is acceptible to mock it because christians are taught by their faith to turn the other cheek. Judism is in a similar boat, but the most they get are stereotypes. There is no christian version of the word "antisemite". And as for Islam, well, we know why they can't be mocked. They will target their critics for calling them violent by acting violent toward them. That, Ojika, is hypacracy. As for the history lessons, pay attension. Not many people know this, but the Crusades were not a wave of violent converting, but in reality a very very very delied reaction to the muslim attacks of christian natons in the middle east. Believe it or not, most of the region we consider the muslim world was previously christian. Unfortunatly, the crusaders got carried away, which the catholic church has alreqady appologized for and sought out penence with. It is a very stupid thing to say that the faithful do not have "common sense", at that is more offensive than this cartoon. Another F.I.Y., the new testement is something ALL CHRISTIANS FOLLOW, not just hard core ones. Thats what separates Christians from the Jewish community. The Bible does not contradict itself, it can only be misinterpreted by the uninformed. I hope that Ojika will find a belief that he can follow, but i suggest he remain silent on subjects he has not really researched. Anyway, great toon. LOL. God Bless
