I'm so glas somebody has finally publicised that the egg came before the chicken! That's the end of another pointless arguement (thank god). Well done for being the guy to get it through to people.

the real answer

ok this was a pretty funny submission but the question has been answered not by a 0.0(whatever)01% chicken its actually quite obvious nowadays there have been several archialgical(im aware i cant spell lol) find where they have discovered DINOSAUR EGGS whitch came way before the evolution of what is now considered a chicken so for all you users out there that read this the next time someone asks you what came first the answer is duh a dinosaur egg sry the flash wasnt half bad but the whole plot is well inacurate

whataboffin responds:

I dont think you noticed it or not but the plot wasnt really meant to be accurate :P

ye know you can't say that because

I love the way people think when they say that but, if you go by genetic differences so small like that in genetics, then there is only one chicken in the WORLD. That is becuase of mutations and genetic shufffling, no two chickens have the exact same Genetic sequencing. I do think the egg came first, but not in the way you think. The first chicken might have looked nothing like what we imagine the chicken. The first chicken was probably a small bird that split off somewhere near the ostriches. (despite size differences, they are very closely genticly similar) One little bird had an accidental mutation, which allowed it to make eggs at an amazing rate. That was the first chicken.
