I miss the SOB's!!! I still watch the reruns on Teletoon at 3am. I know the lyrics to all the songs! I have the two cd's in my car, I downloaded Left Behing 1 & 2 and Ricky Butcher's "The Eight Year Solo". I went as far as downloading Doug Borsky's catch phrase "Bitch, are you for real?". I saw SOB in concert at Les Saints in Montreal on Oct.28, 2008! I have an autographed poster, pictures with the band, a guitar pick, a ticket signed "fishnet" by Sol. The best part was when Doug Borsky, aka Jay Ziebarth did the lead vocals on their cover of Holy Diver and dedicated it to ME!!!%u2665%u2665%u2665 Even better than Ricky signing my titty (it's an SOB ritual!!).
Oh! Yay! I thought I was out of room, but I'm on a roll! So back to that magical night of mine rockin' to Sons of Butcher! They opened the show with "Anyway you want it" by Journey to warm up the non-followers, then can I remember the next song... I'm not sure.Either Action-Reaction or Here To Rock. Anyways I'm right in front ,3, 4 kick-ass tunes later it's time for Holy Diver and Doug figured that that little old bitch (I'm 5'1, 100lbs with a lot of headbanging hair) going nuts, shaking everything and screaming along will probably go really pscycho now! (You devious lovely bastard!)So he grabs the mike, and says:"You all know this next one, and I'm gonna dedicate it to YOU(pointing RIGHT at me), because I KNOW you're gonna like it! Well, of course, he was right on all counts, and I thought "whoa! this is a tough enough song to pull off, how daring!" I was pure MAGIC. I'm getting a high all over again! By the time they got to Fuck the Shit the whole house was having a blast! To this day I'm still wondering why there was no 3rd season of Sons of Butcher. Still my favorite show!!!
