Ok, I'll explain how to make a button...
First, draw your button in Flash. Select the button that you've drawn, and go to Modify > Convert to Symbol. Select "Button" and click OK. There's your button.
The button won't do anything yet because you haven't gave your button a code. If you want it to play, right click the button and click "Actions". In the "Actions panel", click the options on the left "Movie Controls", and double click what you need the button to do. If you click play, it should give you the rest of the code that looks like this...
on (release) {
play();
}

Only a few requests: Next time, could you make the screen a bit bigger? I had to zoom in to 150% just to see the words. And I would prefer it if the screen would play automatically. But that's just me.
Rob-Bob, I can actually see how you think it might be helpful, but it can actually discourage the creator. Like when you said that this was the worst flash ever. I don't think you knew what you were saying. I've seen some videos before that are just one picture of some characters together and some text. You can't even tell who's saying what! So I'm not trying to be rude, but could you deliver advice a little smoothly next time, please?
And blublur, I think he gave it a 1 instead of a 0 because Sonic was in it.
I like the idea of a Sonic movie. Personally, Tails was my favorite character for his mixed personality, persistence, and his ability to be EXTREMELY annoying. Like me! : 3
I do think you have some room for work, but this was excellent for a sprite movie. The first of its kind.
