Given, the original kicks so much more ass, but considering what you had to work with and make it sound good.. You did great. Not having the ring sounds really threw me off, but I adjusted, and really liked what you did with the ending. Still one of my all time faves, by far.

Love it, I spent my life between 4-7 on sonic the hedgehog 2, and this is a killer remix.
Love the part that starts up 1:38 and the ending before it gets softer, pretty good climax.

I think you should replace this one with your original. It doesn't matter that it uses some copyrighted material, there's a lot of people out there who do that without even mentioning it. I agree that the 2:00 minute mark is way out there; it's got EPIC written all over it! I would advise, though, to kick in something of a break in the centre of the song, in which you have some ambient stuff (as if Sonic is searching for Robotnik who just disapeared). The part from 3:18 onwards has such a feeling, but never really gives the listener what it wants: namely, imho, kicking into next gear for the battle, with Sonic having to work harder to kick Robotnik's ass. If it wasn't clear, those are metaphors, but I use them to illustrate what part of the song has to convey what kind of feeling. So... Think about it, I hope you can do something with my advice :)

I would replace it if I didn't want to have to make another NG account because I got banned from putting up music. I had a different account and this was the 1st song I put up, and it got banned from submitting music because of it.
Anyway, I like your ideas, I think I'll make a version 2.0 that does some new things. Hmm... I already have ideas! Thanks man! I could dedicate the bastard to you if you wanted :)

Dude this song was so epic with the sonic sounds. Still is freaking awesome. But... you should post the link to the original. In my opinion its much better.
