I like the name "Pretty Pretty Bang Bang" for this version, because it's so goofy, but the final version will have a different name, because no self-respecting XBLA-player is going to pay for a game called "Pretty Pretty Bang Bang". :)X
I think this game is misunderstood...
I've been playing Newgrounds games for a long while, and never has one kept my attention as steadily as this one. It even prompted my first review!

I think this game would be more widely appreciated if explanations were better provided in-game. To the casual gamer, it appears to be nothing more than random clicking, but if you can understand the scoring system (the importance of chains) and the strategy of holding combos after a boss fight, you can make it far. The game needs, in particular, explanations of the scoring system, the time system, when bosses are triggered, and when stars are triggered. Once those are known, this game can be best described as strategic chaos.
I think the Oviparous Avacado could use some rethinking, because depending on how you approach it (strategy: wait for screen to fill before first explosion) the combo can get so large as to greatly affect high scores. And I don't think one single move should be able to do that so greatly. Just a thought.
But kudos to an amazing concept of a game. Far more enjoyable than Every Extend. I loved every second of it. This entire week.

I considered providing more information in-game, but I've found that (especially on NG) people almost never click on the "Instructions" button, so I just decided it would be easier to let players figure out the intricacies on the game on their own. That said, most of that information is in the "Author's comments", and in the release notes on the game's main page (which I realize isn't as accessible as having it right there in the game).
Oviparous Avocado is specifically designed to be the "take a break" boss before the last two bosses (his name was originally "Martyr Altruist", but I liked "Oviparous Avocado" better and thought it fit better with the other names), although it sounds like you're way beyond needing that break. :)X
