Reviews for "The 16-Bit Wizard"

Holy Yamauchi!

Not too bad! Presentation is slick with the cool little screen shots, three different tunes (1st one fits really well for the game, I think. I like it a lot...though it brings back horrid memories of Maple Story...*shudder*) Some really nice trivia. You'll learn some cool factoids about the SNES playing this one, and a nice variety of types of questions, too.

I'd say you should make a revampled version with more questions (of course) including some sound-effects/music related ones. That would be really cool. Maybe add another category where you show an item and ask what game it's from, I dunno. Lots of cool stuff you could do here. Good job, guys.

MajinPiccolo responds:

I agree the first tune suits the game VERY well. Naw, instead of revamping this version we'll make a whole new version on a whole new console

Thgis is alot better......

than the previous one I reviewed, keep it up.

MajinPiccolo responds:

Thanks, we will ;)

Great quiz, but...

...Allow a Sony fan to set the record straight for you. The Playstation had precious little to do with Philips. Nintendo was actually working with the Sony corporation in 1988 to develop the "Nintendo Playstation." Sony offered a lot of technical assistance in the development of what was going to be a revolutionary CD Rom-based addition to the Super Nintendo.

However, in 1991, Nintendo made the mistake of stabbing Sony in the back by developing a new CD gaming system with Philips. Not ones to take this lying down, Sony decided to push forward using the original Playstation design they had created with Nintendo. Nintendo wasn't using it, after all.

In fact, if you open up an old Super Nintendo, you will notice Sony parts inside of it, such as the sound system. Nintendo should take full responsiblity for their current console failures, for turning their backs on a business partner.

Great quiz, though. Full of memories.

MajinPiccolo responds:

Very interesting, thanks for that. Didn't know that, I was under the impression Nintendo made a deal with Sony for a CD-Addon and Sony left to make their own system.

It's ok but

Better than the 8-bit one but the questions are still the same. 'Who designed this and that?' I'm not that kind of SNES fan.

Hey!!!

Good game! tough i now evrything about SNES, BUT NO! anyway, can i get an MP3 link or somethung to Music nr.3?
