No, the other body is that of Nami's friend Sandra. If you go to her apartment just before talking to the killer for the last time, you find her body.
The case wasn't solved... officially. In the second episode it's possible to find a newspaper that tells you that the case fell apart in court and the killer got off. Such is the reality of police work. The news paper is in the locked room to the left of the stairwell, click on the ID from Dr. Ferrer's office to unlock it briefly.
Kills me to have to give this a 0/5. I loved Jack French 15+ years ago, and I hope the sequels aren't broken as well, but no matter what I do I can't give Mario the picture. I beat it before years ago so I'm not sure what the issue is, but if a game can't be beaten it isn't a very good game. The voice acting at least in ep. 1 is poor to be sure, but there is enough meat to the plot that the story makes up for it. Here's hoping you can get it fixed.
