My only quarrel is that it's the same melody over the same chord progression repeated 3 times. You could have submitted a 43 second loop? Still, great loop.

Epic
This song, to me, belongs in a war video game. Like you said, out in the desert, a squadron of highly trained men are making a march to what may be certain death. They know that they will not go in vain, as their job is honorful, and they need to survive. As the helicopters fly over, this squadron takes place in the most bloody battle in the history of the war, single handedly taking complete control over an enemy headquarters. As the sun sets, they think of how much closer to winning the war they are now.
I love songs like this..
The simple melody pulls at the heartstrings & lets the mind wander into oblivion. I'd love to try remixing this, maybe add a little string or some choir to round the sound out completely. But! I'm not quite up to par production wise.

I have to make a....
setup moment. It's where a make a small story out of song. I only do it to rlly epic songs.
"As he wakes up in the desert, he looks around and sees his fallen comrads. Blood splattered everywhere. It looked like a butchers kitchen. He decides to get up and find survivors. As he is walking, he is thinking how violent the battle must of been. damaged tanks, fallen helicopters, and the artillery positions where totalled. He eventually reaches the base. The base looked wrecked and useless. But he still went in to look for survivors. The first body he sees makes his heart sink. It was his best friend. The one who always cheers him up. The one who always stays by his side. The one who vowed to stay as friends forever. And now he is dead. He founds one heli in whats left of the hanger. But he stops before stepping. He must avenge whoever did this. He recalled the general talking about a "Secret jewel"that they were after. He looks around until he finds the safe. The enemy thought it was impossible to receive it because it was blocked by rubbel. But he finds a way in. And what is so secret about the jewel....It grants powers like no others for whoever touches it."
This one is a little longer than i usually would. I'm not a song critic unfortunately so i can't really give anything that's wrong with the song. So 10 it is.
