It felt like there should have been much more. More variety, more difficulty, more things to upgrade... It didn't feel like just a simple side-scroller, which, since it was just a simple side-scroller, mechanics wise, means it is sort of dissapointting.
It's not bad but needs work
You can take this alot further.Graphically you definitely have it down.Your animations are pretty smooth too.
You have a few bugs that make enemies appear in strange places and one in the desert I was walking for about 5 minutes when I knew there was a jump about 4 and a half minutes back.Like I was walking way too long you know?
Also theres only 3 weapons in the store.When you have the third wep. it's pointless to collect the currency.You should have maybe a stanima booster to buy.Or you can buy faster regenerating stanima.Perhaps health potions?Or a ranged weapon.
Cool game though if you work on it.
good, but could use a little extra
I found the game a little too basic. All it really requires is the same block/stab technique for each enemy. The weapons are way too cheap, and there are too few. Try maybe adding a feature in which you take damage to stamina shielding, and then you can buy progressively better shields in which you take less damage per attack you block. either way, i would recommend a way to add more weapons. Also don't make it possible to jump over your enemies. it is possible simply to jump over all the monsters. these games never appeal to me that much, simply because there is no depth to the combat. However, for it's type, this game is good.
It's fun for the first few levels...
But that's all it really is. The first few levels over and over with different backgrounds.
at least it gave me some laughs...
very frustrating game... unresponsive controls, died alot because i fell in pits, very childish graphics and comical sounds make for a couple laughs but, i cant take this game seriously.
