A few errors
I tried this in flash and I have the following feedback to give you:
The circle used for the scope dosent follow the mouse properly, i tried several times but the mouse was always above the circle not in the centre.
You dont give any instructions on how to make the circle reveal things which is needed a lot.
The circle should be white and the background black not the other way around :)
If you were to remake this with all this fixed it would rock.
1st:The scope doesnt proparly following the mouse problem is very simple to get rid off.Draw ur circle,double click it and draw the little cross(looks like this +)to the middle of ur circle.
2nd:Just draw whatever u want it to reveal and then draw a black rectangle over it...at least i think that will solve the problems...not quite sure though!
okaay....
why is the scope at the end not centered on hte mouse. it is harder to control like that. and also there is an easier way of changing hte background colour to black without click rectangle, right click properties and alll that crap. just go to the damn properties menu and choose it there much easier.

Dont really need it
This sort of thing can be taught with words fairly fast. No reason to have a tut. And you did something wrong anyway. Next time, make sure you have the registration point of scope in the middle, not at the top. Good luck with your future projects.

there are enough tutorials whit shooting games, this one whit the sniper scope sux, first there are som spelling errors. secod : this tutorial only learned how to do a scope, if you had put in more in it it would be better. third: you forgot to tell alot about how to do, this tutorial looked like a tutorial for noobs, and it would be to hard for them to understand, only a little more experienced flash users could understand this, and they can allready do a follow the mouse script, and on the last frame wheere you test the scope you forgot to place the cros that sticks to the mouse in the middle(not ingame i mean in flash, there is a cross in the scene and that should be in the middle). i got loads to complain about this movie, so much that i dont want to write it down, it would make more than 4096 chars.
okay, to be honest there was one thing i liked and that was the music :P
thank for the review,look i didnt forgot to make a scope,every1 whit a tiny bit of fantasy can make that cross at his own.But if you dont like it,than thats your problem(also i did not say this was a noobie tutorial)
