Flash plataform action at it´s best
The graphics were nice, the main character was nicely animated, but most enemies had very few frames, yet they all looked good(Some tiles reminded me of Jazz JR 2).
The music wasn´t sooo good, but the sfx was good enough.

W000T! you sir are my hero, this is the first tile based game I've seen in flash in a loooong time. beautiful work.
also about your passcode system, it's cool but there's always cookies.
also next time add slopes to you tile based engine.

Slopes are tough, but I may include them. It's an "extra" thing that gets added to my list, along with elevators and things of that sort.
As for cookies; I'd love to. As soon as I figure out how to do it. ;-)
It had a few problems, but was good.
A helpful thing to do would to be when you go to the boss part to be have full health again. I'd think you would be extremely good at this game as you guys made it, but think of how you make the levels as you are a person that has never played the game. And the voiceovers were a bit low quality. Anyway, it was a good game, but still has some stuff to work out. If its a battle mage, it should probably start out with at least 1 spell, also.

The voiceovers were a bit of a disappointment for me as well, I plan to go another route for voice actors next time.
And with the spell thing; I see the point, but the story involves a man with no magic to speak of becoming a BattleMage. BM2 will likely start with a super-powered Josh, to allow the user both to get a feel for the controls and early access to awesome abilities.

I liked it, it was pretty fun, but the characters in the talking screen looked pretty awful, but i guess it's alright. The magic thing was pretty cool. Thumbs up and hope you either work more on this, or make more.
