Reviews for "Snowball Fight!"

Cool, yet simple..

It was really fun.. I liked how you could make your own map even though I only made one with only a tree in it... Still very cool!!

Great Game!!!

----REVIEW----
I think this is very good. It takes quite a bit of effort just to do something that people are calling "cool yet simple". As a fellow designer I would like to say that your work is very good and inspiring to others. I just hope anything I submit will come out this good. Great work and keep it up!!!

----SUGGESTIONS----
Excellent game, fine the way it is. But if you do intend to add a few other things here are soem ideas.
*Larger maps with more obstacle choices.
*Commands would be cool, but try not to alter the game to much.
In the end its fine the way it is. ;)
*If you have any experience, try and establish a multiple user
design in it so people could play multi player.

None of these things are required to make the game better. They would just make the game so good, there would be hardly any Competition.

This game has so much going for it

This is awesome, and has a great ammount of potential, yet it is simple.

Meh..

It needs a lot more improvement. I would like to be able to give orders to my team members, such as..

-By holding down Ctrl and clicking on as many of my team members as I would like, I can click on one of the enemy to have all of those members attack them, or I could hold down Shift along with Ctrl to select more than one enemy.
-Speaking of team members, I'd like to be able to constantly see the health of them and my enemies, or at least mouse over them to check.
-Appoint team members to follow me, or defend me if I'm attacked, or attack whoever I attack.
-Order team members to stay in a certain spot and fire, good for, perhaps, there's an enemy attacking some other members above the member, but your member is being attacked by enemies below them. You order them to stay in an area with trees/snowmen below them, and to the left and the right, but with the area above them clear.
-Building snowmen? That would be pretty cool.
-Option to 'Save As' in the level editor. (DIRELY NEEDED.)
-I really want to be able to change where enemies and your team spawn at the start of the game, such as putting half of the team members in one area, and the other half in another area. That would be really cool.

I liked how there was no blood flying everywhere. The music got really annoying after a while, though. Please try and make my dreams come true, think about adding some of my suggestions.

Predigus

DBarbarian responds:

Thank you for the thoughtful review. Now to address some issues:

-I will definately keep your suggestions in mind for the next installment of snowball fight. When I was making the game, I had no intention of creating a "war strategy" type game, but rather a simple game where a group of kids are having a snowball fight.

-I am not sure what you mean by the "save as" option. You can save the map anytime you like by pressing "Save." If you would like to edit it further, simply select that map in the "Custom Game" screen and click EDIT.
-Spawn areas will be included in the next version.
-Turn the music off anytime with the M key.

Thank you for your suggestions. I hope you'll like the next one better. =)

Cool game

Really cool game with smooth graphics. Not your ordinary every-day games. I like the map editor thing and the maps actually stay
saved. XD The only thing bad is that the game lagged a bit when
you put alot of stuffs in the environment (trees and stuff) and
you have around 7 players on each team. I have a fast comp and it happens.
