NON-STOP MEGA MAN ACTION!!!!
An awesome tribute to one of the greatest game series of all time! I have the original "Mega Man" (NES) along with its seven sequels in the Anniversary Collection for my PS2 and have beaten them all! But never have I understood what it would be like in the aftermath after Rock had defeated Dr. Wily and his Robot Masters! While some of it WAS a bit inaccurate, a fair amount of it did stay true to the actual games and put it all together nicely! The music was good, the action was very well done, and the sprite edits were simply AMAZING! (the ending with Rock playing the guitar was impressive!) After playing through the games numerous times, I never realized exactly how many Robot Masters there actually WERE! Just when I thought all of them were defeated, even more came that I'd nearly forgotten about! Obviously, this must have taken forever to set up and animate! The only downside was that the ending was a bit of a letdown. The story to "Mega Man" should end where Bass betrays Wily (as he did in "Mega Man and Bass") but goes solo in order to discover his true power. Meanwhile, Rock continues to battle Dr. Wily and keeps ruining his plans. So Wily realizes that he cannot defeat Rock on his own and goes into hiding where he finishes his last creation, Zero (from the "Mega Man X" series). Afterwards, Wily commits suicide but his dying wish is for Zero to one day destroy Mega Man and everyone else! Then again, this cartoon should be considered an alternate ending to how everything COULD have been! I still enjoyed it, so I give you a 10/10!
