So the fact that i can pass through blocks is a real pain in the ass but whatever i can forgive it
This is a very challenging game. The challenge is compounded by two problems. First, there is glitch where you character keeps passing through the blocks. It's not game-breaking, but makes the game more difficult than it should be. The second problem is that the jump button is nearly broken. It will only jump about 50% of the time you press it. More often than not, your character will just run off ledges or stand there. Sometimes, your character will jump for no reason after landing.
Unfortunately with those issues the game became a lot less fun than it could have been.
This is still an ok game from 2005 and it was interesting to play 11 years after the fact. The story was cute, the graphics were adequate and the gameplay itself was pretty neat considering the time the game was produced.
I couldn't recommend people go back and play this as the controls are too broken for a casual player. The game is still beatable, but you will die many, many times due to errors that aren't your fault. You will also die many times due to errors that are your fault.
The badges help increase the replay value and give some incentive to power through the game even if you die a million times, and the ending is kind of neat. Overall I rate my experience 2/5
