Pretty decent, but far from perfect
Well, I was listening to some music, and I realized that it was the OST for this game. Anyways, let's talk about the game.
I like the idea of a retro platformer like this. The graphics and music are pretty well planned out, and fit perfectly. The game was pretty fun, and had some nice difficulty, but often times the difficulty came from poor controls, specifically the jumping. Overall, I enjoyed it, but sometimes it was very frustrating due to the controls.
Nintendo Hard
Look, you had a good concept and everything, but I can't get past level 2/1 because the character is a 1 hit-point wonder and the platform jumps require pixel-perfect timing to pull off. Either one or the other is hard enough. My suggestion would be to give a little more leeway on the jumping.

About half the times I die, it's because one of the dude's legs goes through the block. Sweet music though.
