There was a show called Dinosaurs
back in the 90s, and one episode had, Earl the lead character, watched a Test Patern, be became excited. The TV execs who studying him said, "That's a test pattern, you Zombie!"

I thought this was good. At first I was a little unsure but it did get better. My only gripe is that it was pretty short
