Okay, but...
You were trying too hard to be funny. Most of the gags were either too blatant, too obvious, or too petty. Too bad, coz it actually looked good.

The plot was so obvious that it really depleted some of the better possibilities for humor. Also, the references to Velma's often ambiguous sexuality in the show were a little overdone. It would have been funnier to leave them to the viewer's imagination with objects such as the purple vibrator than to overtly state she's a dyke on a regular basis.
