The tunes are a bit different...
But the overall feel for the music as a Rose, never changed. It's more mellow than others, but it still doesn't deter the theme. But the use of orchestral instruments is excellent. Despite the fact that I am not familiar with Meridiem. I guess this will be the beginning of a new series of rose. I hope to hear more soon.
True! I actually kind of agree it more sounds like a normal battle theme than a boss theme after having listened to it myself a few times in a row now, but it still sounds RPGish indeed. :)
I explained the word Meridiem a few reviews below, basically it's latin for noon. :P

last night i was just chekin m e-mails and i just had a feeling that nemesis theory might have released a new song so i checked and i was wtf!!! kinda wierd
the drums always sound so unique with your music i dont know why, ive never heard better soundin drums in pretty much anything.
my favorite thing about the song is that guitar, it sounds so nice.
i also love the name meridiem, your songs always have great names.
seriously you need to sell this stuff, make an album called roses or something and put like 10 or 12 rose songs in it i think youd make a lot of money. i cant believe youve not made an album to sell yet (unless i just dont know)
already cant wait for the next rose (and i hope the score of this one goes up cause someone must be blammin it for it to only have like 3.40 it deserves like 4.74 or sumin big)

About albums and stuff... I've had a few commercial requests but I've always said no, but, I had one the other week where they seemed pretty serious about wanting me on board, for some small videogame company. Could be worth looking into. :) I dont think the style of music I make would work well with albums, since it's mostly (85%) video game related in some shape or form.

Not much to add to the comments below, except that this one has a less "epic" feel then your other Roses, though it has a great continuity and doesn't get boring either.
Loops really smooth...in fact I didn't really notice it when it did the first time.
If I had to place it in a category, it would probably end up as "normal" RPG battle-music or fast paced FPS (has a futuristic feel with it btw, maybe an effect of the stronger DnB style in this one, but may just be me)

Musically this is perfect! I've been an avid fan of yours since your Mirror's Edge remix(the greatest song ever IMO), and always look forward to your new works. I bow before your musical genius Ms. Nemesis.
Thematically, though, this sounds like it could belong to an old school platformer(i.e. Megaman). Though as listen more, I do hear the underlying RPG element to it.

Yeah, I think especially the ending sequence sounds very megamanish, but since I'm a very big MM fan I always somehow seem to get influenced by it at some point. ;o
