A few words about the piece.
Absolutely brilliant.
This is, in essence, a fairly accurate depection of the life of modern man in the average American household, and really in most other parts of the world that the corporations own (you either work for the corporations, or you don't work and you don't eat because of that). However, I want to stress to everyone that this is *not* necessarily the way life HAS to be. You, right here and now, are completely one-hundred percent free to make or do practically any action that you can think of, so long as it is a physical possibility. The artist was probably giving us a macabre sort of poke at the lifestyle that probably well over ninety percent of us will have, but like I said it doesn't have to be that way. Don't let the "social bubble" you live in make you forget that you are an intelligent, rational, capable animal and if you so desired you could circumvent the current ways of living or, hell, invent your own way of living. The key is to remember that at this point our species is still in its infancy (a mere 23,000 years or so compared to the millions of years certain other species had or have existed), so no one is exactly holding you to the highest standard except other humans, and really they don't know a whole hell of a lot more than you. Recognize that, at this point, we have not conclusively proven certain concepts that may be holding you back from fully living your life (God springs to mind). Let loose. You are an animal first and foremost, but you don't need to be vicious. If you really, truly want to radically change your life for the better, switch your job to part time, get rid of all the uneccessary material things (distractions that are not tools) you have, build a shelter and plant a garden to live off of, and devote your time to bettering the world and I *promise you* it will shake the very foundations of the world you live on and every mental concept you have of the world around you. It will literally blow your mind (reset the neural connections) . Give it a try.
