Reviews for "[SB] The Three Stooges"

Not Bad

--The Good--

The sounds were pretty easy to hear in this soundboard, and all of the buttons worked. Also, 'The Three Stooges' is a pretty funny show, so it's pretty much a given that this is going to be at least a little bit funny.

--The Improvement-Needing--

Well, I noticed that when you scroll over the 'Assn. of Morons' sound , it doesn't change colour and the background was kind of bland (I notice these things now :). Also, it might be nice if the 'STOP ALL SOUNDS' ubtton changed colour, or something like that.

--Overall--

Overall, I gave you a 6. Not a bad soundboard, but not a great one either.

FattyWhale responds:

I'll admit that the design isn't too great, but i've never been too good at that. Thanks

A pretty boring soundboard

~The Pros~

Well, soundboards genrally aren't that exciting, and this one was no different. However, there were some "diamonds under the rough" as they say. All of the sounds were done really well, and there was no static present throughout the would thing. Also, there was nothing wrong with the buttons.

~The Cons~

There were a lot of things that could have been improved. The background could have been improved, and could have been better off with a freeze frame from a scene. Also, whenever you clicked on one button, and then another, the voices got combined together.

Overall, a pretty good soundboard of a great show, but could have used some more time. I hope you benefit from this review. XD

FattyWhale responds:

Hmm...I do have a stop sounds button to solve your last problem. I'm sure that I could stop sounds once a new button is clicked, but that would take some research. Screw that.

Thanks for the review :D

I didn't really like it.

Unfortunately, I don't really like sound boards. It was pretty boring and you could probably put some animation in it as well. I can say the sound quality was good. I think you could've put a bit more for Larry though. The black background is what made it even more boring. I think that it can improve.

FattyWhale responds:

It was my first one so I didn't really have a lot of experience at the time. thanks

Gotta love the stooges :P

~The good~

Stooges were one of my favorite shows a long time ago, so this did bring back good memories. You also had a nice selection of different quotes, and some were really great, my favorite were the "woob" by Curly, "Trying to think'' by Curly, and the "Alphebet" by all, they really brought back some memories and really got me cracking up!

~The bad~

Only four for larry!? You could've definetely did a better job on larry, they weren't even his best quotes. Also, the black background made it seem kind of dull, somthing more colorful, or even a picture in the background would've been better.

Overall, a very well-made Stooges soundboard, especially for your first one. I hope this review was helpful!

3/5

FattyWhale responds:

LOL...it was actually really hard to find quotes from Larry. Apparently he's not so popular on the web. I didn't have my graphics guy at the time, hence the crap backgrounds. thanks for the review!

Good for a first soundboard

You had a good selection of sounds (it wouldn't be neraly as good without Curly's "woob woob woob woob woob" noise), but you need clearer audio. Also, it would be nice for a wider selection of sounds and maybe a background instead of that dull black one you have. I still think you should make it longer because once you're done with it, it has little replay value. So, good for a first attempt, but you have a lot of room for improvement.
Grade: C+

FattyWhale responds:

Thanks for reviewing. I got the sounds from many different sources, hence the poor quality in some of them. I spent quite some time scouring the web for sounds, but if I ever feel like it I will download some episodes and rip audio myself, but don't count on it.
