A fantastic telling of an otherwise overused genre
I think we all can remember the countless movies or programs telling of a beautiful girl from space meeting a down to earth or in other words clueless guy. However, i like the way you are going with this series and i expect nothing but excellence from you in the future.
Below is a category based review.
Graphics - I like your character designs; they are simple yet interesting and suprisingly detailed. When the man was sleeping I liked the silliness of his expression; it actually gives the viewer a feel for his character, adding his overall down-to-earthness. The alien creature in the beginning was very good too, even if you left the details to the viewer's imagination.
Style - Kind of an anime-ish, dark, suspense-filled style. I like the way you left the story open for the next installment to explain everything; it hopefully will reveal a great deal about where you wish to go with your story and characters.
Sound - I liked your choice of music, it really added to the mood of each scene. You cant go wrong with everyone's best friend Uematsu. Of course i hope to hear some more voice acting in the next episode, which will hopefully more based on character development than the first one.
Violence - The first few scenes included some violence, but of course you knew when to stop and didn't show any killing or demolishing that some other flash include. I liked that about this, there wasn't too much as to give the viewer the wrong idea that this is just another of those slaughter series (which i reall hope it isn't, this has much potential)
Interactivity - well, as this is not a game and i dont know if there were any secrets, i am unable to really judge on interactivity.
Humor - as i mentioned before, the guy's expression when he was sleeping was moderately hilarious. Dont try too hard to make this funny however, it would ruin the atmosphere you have going on right now.
Overall - I really enjoyed it and i hope my review helps you in the future with your next few flash movies. Do your best and work hard so that the next one is even better than this, which it most definitely will be.
