I actually found the axe scene rather disturbing. I loved the music and thought it was very well chosen. Poor turkey, at least he didn't seem too bothered by his own demise... maybe because he was free range? I hear that low stress lifestyle makes their meat nice and tender.
Well, then as dumb as he was he was probably too stupid to move much. That's good eatin'!

As for the axe... it COULD have been worse. I could have SHOWN it. OoOoooo... lol. Yeah, but I didn't so it would be for all ages. Little kids live with me and I want to make stuff I don't mind them watching (most of the time) and that was a good way to do it, I thought.

Great Flash... simply drawn but ambitious, good. The dialogue was enjoyable. It really is sad about the turkeys though because actually they are rather smart for birds. I know where you were going with the story so its not really a nitpick. Now you got me thinking of the Thanksgiving spread, I'm hungry now.

NICE JOB FOR A FIRST
this was pretty good for your first movie. i liked it a lot, but i'm sure that couldn't have been the very first swf made by you because of the training involved. also, never do a movie in 10 fps again. it just looks bad. try 12-15 fps for a smoother-looking movie.
I plan on upping the fps for CERTAIN next time. I went with 10 this time just because I had never done it before and I didn't want to burn myself out of it in case I didn't like it.
This was the first SWF though. The training I did was actually while making this flash. Weird, huh? I just kind of "got" it.

It is, I swear. I played around with the turkey a little bit at the beginning, but mostly what you see is me learning.
Like at the end in the credits and the last turkey are all tweens since I had figured them out in a tutorial I re-read. I then decided to play with them. hehe. The credits were completely re-done actually.
And front page? WOW! What a compliment! Thank you!! I think... YOU deserve front page! Yes you do! :p
