Very cool

This was very cool, it definately has some great potential. I think you should do more.

I also liked how some of your backgrounds were done, more specifically the cave shots.

Yeah...

It was nice, nothing hugly amazing but nice non the less. And im pretty sure some "Adam Phillips" was in there too...
Which is nice..

Insert catchy title here, I'm to tired

the characters looked kind of like the bitey characters, so it seems very simular, except not quite as beautiful or facinating, while watching it I for some reason thought pokemon meets DBZ, in the middle of a random forest, Your animation is nice though a little jumpy(maybe that was intended) some sound effects would really change it for the better, as well as maybe some more uniquely designed characters. anyway good start, continue making the series with a few changes and you may soon have a large fan base.

Not bad!

Of all the people you could choose to emulate in Flash animation, Adam Phillips is probably the best. I don't care if it's strongly influenced by something else, it didn't turn out too bad.

Of course, mixing the creative storytelling beauty of Adam Phillips with the Dragonball style over-the-top fighting style is a definate way to screw up something good.

Instead of falling into the typical, Jimmy Everykid massive battle for no or little reason, try using your head instead and make the fighting SMART. Overpowerful characters with no weaknesses are a dime a dozen. Try making the key weakness of the golem thing a key character flaw, like its malevolent nature. Have the imp guy use it against him instead of just trading blows.

All these "powerful fight" animations are summed up easily. It's a flashy (no pun intended) arm wrestling contest. It's that simple. Whoever is stronger wins. Screw that, it's boring.

You might win points with a few kids for making a flashy, action packed powerfight, but if you make something nice, people will recognize it.

Also, you might want to re-draw the initial scene where he pops out of the cave and stands there for a moment. It looks very awkward and it's animated poorly. His size and proportions also change drastically, so it would make things a lot nicer to return to the opening sequence, clean it up and add a few frames of animation where it's jumpy, and revamp him with your revised look that shows up as the animation progresses.

Nicely done.

I enjoyed it, it kept my attention but it will never be one of my favorites. There just wasn't enough of a story, also There just wasn't (not that I could see) enough of a reason for your character to risk life and limb, it just seemed a little pointless. I personally would like to get to know your characters a little more, I didn't get any sence of a personality. With all that being said I look forward to the sequal.
