wonderful
there are a few bugs in it, but those are expected to be in games every once in a while...
overall, this was a great game, the music was superb (especially for bowser's castle music)
on a slow machine, this game is a bit iffy, but i gave it the benefit of the doubt and stuck with it... (might want to fix the bug in the scrolling options, it didn't seem to do anything different for each choice)

Also, I found out that in level 2, holding shift and pressing r refills your health. Can't find the 3rd one though...
A great addition to the Mario saga at Newgrounds!
This game was a lot of fun to play, and kept very close to the traditional mario spirit. The bosses and the way you fought them were inventive (bullet bills to hurt thwomp was great!). The music was also something to remember, especially that first level music. It took me a while to realize that was from Super Mario Land. The only thing I would change about this game is to give bowser his own special boss music, instead of having him have the same boss music as everyone else, and make a better credits screen, like somethingabout the ending of the story. I mean, we don't even know why Luigi is going to Bowser's castle in the first place. Oh, and here's a tip for bowser: Time your jumps so you're coming down when the fireball would hit you, and HOLD shift the whole was down. It becomes like a shield, making deflecting a lot easier. Then all you have to do is hope the bullet bill doesn't hit you.
