it started out OK, but then you "zoomed", there was "fire," and the music wasn't even from FIRE EMBLEM, it was from Pirates of the Carribean, so...

Where to start
I'll start with the harsh part- the sprite works was subpar when it was edited, like when the horses were unmanned and bows tilted, the background was horrible, and the arrows could have used work since we saw them so much. The turning animations were stupid as were the falling ones- if you can't make them look good, take them out of the script. The disappearing dead people was also pretty stupid, the blood was AWFUL as was the fire, and some of the battles were a little stupid. A general with an axe being taken out in one hit by a javelin from a cavalier? Zooming in on Eliwood's sprite was also a bad idea, because it's not high res, and when he went into the tent it was stupidly badly layered. However, it was synchronized nicely with the music, especially at the start, and while I can't say this was good, it was at least not unwatchable. There was some entertainment to be had overall.
Tips:
1. For backgrounds, try using images from Fire Emblem- you can find sprites for generic backgrounds from cutscenes, area maps, overworld maps, etc.
2. If you can't do something, don't do it. If a sprite can't walk, pan over to it instead of having it move into frame, if it can't turn, don't have it turn, etc.
3. For god's sake man, download a fire animation or something. And don't put blood if you can't do anything but scribble with a red brush.
4. Don't zoom in unless the resolution is high enough to look good
5. Keep the fights believable for FE fans.
Overall: Try again, but there's some potential

I'm a big Fire Emblem 7 fan and I have to say, not a bad little war you've got there. The animation could have been better, but the pirates theme helped. Not bad.
