Reviews for "Scorched Earth: The Movie"

Nice

Very cool. I've played the game several times before and I must say you did a good job at re-inacting it and putting even more entertainment into it ^_^

Good Job

Highly Recommended.

As a person who used to play scorched earth I really enjoyed the movie and the wierd goings on (lets face it plain Scorched earth would be boring). The effect of the blown to piece earth really hit him with the terrain deformation you get in the game.

The only thing extra i wanted to see was to play a little with the advanced weapons like death heads, funky bombs and leap bombs.

Good flash, nicely smooth and a fun quirky plot. All round approval from me.

Mhm.
Once the game departed from the original (about the time that the moon got shot) I didn't need to explore the classic features of Scorch (such as the classic bombs) anymore. I pretty much left the game behind after that, and just introduced my own stuff. :D Plan Scorched Earth would be boring. ;)

Greatest!

Greatest movie adaptation ever...I loved it, and the humor was fantastic...talk about good music, too! It was 'timed' perfectly with the action. Good job!

Great movie that strayed

This submission was funny. It started with the typical Scorched Earth theme, towards slightly more open-ended ideas. The title wasn't quite fitting, for the movie drifts further and further away from it. However, if you watch the ending, you realize it ties in with the name Scorched Earth perfectly.

The Benny Hill bit I found quite amusing. Just because everyone else use rock music and such to emphasize their movies, this one did not fall into the mundane repetitiveness of them all. I give you good marks for being original. I did find the ending with the group holding slightly cheesy though. But then again, how else to put the point clearly with stick figures and no text?

Good movie, and congratulations on front page.

TmsT responds:

SLIGHTLY cheesy? It was UBERCHEEZY! :D

FUN FACTOID: "Scorched Moon" was the movie's working title, about halfway through.

Good

It was pretty good through the whole thing, but wow those two who commented before me don't get the ending at all. Try looking at the backround as you go through again.
