Simon and Garfunkel Mk II

Seriously, this totally reminds me of Simon and Garfunkel. The melody especially in the intro is so simple yet so effective, that I was instantly nodding my head to it.

When the vocals set it I was reminded of the already mentioned Simon and Garfunkel. I don't know exactly why, but maybe it's the simple melodies together with two singers singing together in harmony. Well, at least it sounds as if there are two people singing. Or is this just an effect on the voice?

Anyway, this is a very nice song, this goes straight into my favorites. :)

Nice

A good close harmony that the two vocalist sounds have - did you mean this, or is it just a fortuitous glitch?

I like the sound of this piece - simple, yet effective acoustic guitars and some very well written lyrics. How long have you been playing? I think that there's a nice beat and is there a bass in there as well, just to keep things flowing nicely along.

The way that you've arranged this sounds quite professional, but there are things that could be achieved through mastering and re-taking parts of the songs. I think you've got a great start with this demo though.

i fucking love it

great stuff, i really like chill acoustic stuff like this

no complaints, mabye you could post the lyrics so we can follow along better?

simple guitar parts, which isnt bad, just sayin

are you doing both of the vocals?

you should put some background piano chords in there, that could add a new depth of chill to this song that would be nice

peace out

It isn't my type of music, so I almost gave you a lower rating, but I remembered my bias for metal and reconsidered.

Instrumental: Basic, so easy that I could play it without looking for the tabs if I wanted to. Nice sound though, has an obvious calming affect. Doesn't take away from the vocals at all.

Vocals: It's always hard for me to judge vocals fairly, even harder in independent music. The lyrics are interesting at best. They are obviously the lead in this song and tell an effective story (more than I can say for more famous music).

Music: Simplistic in nature, flows easily enough, and is a song I'm sure many people would probably have on an iPod. However, I won't say it's anything different from other pieces, and it honestly doesn't amaze me.

Good job overall, keep it up.5/5, 7/10.
