All menu things are easy to access and you aren't bogged down with too many weapon choices and magic spells.
Everything is perfect, If only my compy had better graphics.
I suggest making it so trees fade when the little girl goes under them, I've lost her a couple of times doing that...

Very, VERY, creative, with VERY good graphics and sounds. Very good story too, it's still full of mystery, but I'm sure the continuation of it will bring us an excellent script. The part of taking care of the girl is very fun too, a little hard perhaps, but very fun.
For the people having trouble with the endless corridor level, let me give you a hint that someone already gave here in the reviews: the white stones on the way look like arrows, don't they?

Great game!
I really, really liked this game. There were a few things about it that irked me, but it was still a really good game, nonetheless. The bridge level wasn't a problem for me because its kinda obvious what you have to do. I mean, if you don't have a bridge, make one!
The only level that confused me a bit was the never-ending path, so I went and looked at the review. I was like: what arrows? Then I checked the game again and slapped myself. The answer was totally obvious. Everyone is blind sometimes I guess.
The final showdown wasn't that hard. Because i had the lvl 3 healing magic, I just got the boss stuck in a corner and hacked away at him with my sword. When my head started to take a dive, i'd walk a little ways away and heal myself. Then i'd start swinging again. The girl wasn't that hard to manage at all.
I do agree that the first magic spell, the wind one, isn't very good at al, but the later ones I liked. Tornado was my favorite. :)
The special thing you got at the end for not doing the level select was worth it, though its an obvious reward.
Overall, this was definitely one of the better games I have played on newgrounds and I anxiously await a sequel.
