Good game, but could be better.
The movement controls are a little clunky, and so are the battle controls. The sword swings to slow to hit an enemy that surprises you, and the magic...well...the magic is usually good actually. I like the use of the midget to get the sword, thats one of the reasons I gave this game an 8. Once again, an overall great game.
Midget? Ok... I was going for a young girl, but that works too.

that was such a good game. i still managed to easily play this one even without Flash 8. good thing i could too, this game was very fun to play, good graphics, good audio, good gameplay...... it was just great overall. i liked this one a lot. great work on it. glad to see it win an award too.

best flash game ive played
first off, the sword swings too slow, maybe thats intended but it makes those little bats a pain. the monsters were a bit repetitive, but they werent horrible. the little girl adds a bit of difficulty, you can leave her behind the first time but she can follow you through the open field. the third level had me confused, i figured it out ofcourse, but it took a while. the fourth level seemed a bit simplistic, it seemed like you were going for a puzzle because of the first wall, but the rest seemed like a filler more than anything. the ghosts were incredibly annoying, but its the only time ive seen ghosts used that way (they walked slowly making them seem passive even while they barraged you with attacks). i have to admit, i ran through that hallway for about half an hour. even after the hints i didnt get it, but you said arrows, and they look like rocks with a v cut into them to me. maybe thats how others saw it.

Well, I had fun, but. Overall, i didn't really like it. I was playing and lost interest. The gameplay really lacked.
Well, the sad truth is that I can't make a game that everyone will enjoy. Sorry mate.
