this was alright i was expecting a bit more of a boss fight and the music gt a little annoying and he only killed one metroid...good...but yeh just good...but keep it up mate u are getting there

A good start to flash animation.
This is a good start. The sprite animation is very smooth. The background graphics are lacking, but I see talent there; try to make them a little less cartoony. The music was a little too loud, but good choices for the situations. I almost couldn't hear the "Warning! Intruder Alert!" alarm. You froze the boss, and it fell and shattered? Why didn't the other Metroid fall and shatter? I would have liked to see a big boss fight, but it wasn't bad.
Overall, I see potential here, but there's a few things you should work on. 1) Make the backgrounds a little more realistic for the situation. 2) Get the perportions right. Why is Samus 1/4 the height of the hallway? 3) Better timing for some of the actions. The frame that the ship leaves the top of the screen it appears on the right side. A bit of a delay would have been more realistic. Or, maybe the ship starts lifting up, then rotates slightly to the right and ascends diagonally until it's off screen. Then, a few seconds later, it flies by in the background.
Overall, I'd give it a 3/5. Good job.

Wait, if the little creature ship flies by when you take off... I never seen in the movie you rescuing the little creatures....oh well...everything doesn't have to be perfect ^_-
