Reviews for "DragonBall Z: Lightbulb"

Good job

I must say, it was a bit of a pity that the sound was very soft... but apart from that, there were great graphics and a funny short joke in the end. Good short, would love to see more of em.

HOLY SH!t

being a DBZ fan i found this extremely accurate and FUNNY AS HELL!!! keep up the good work

Awesome

Wow,this was really good,if u ever get the time, make a series of these!(P.S.Great job on the voices.)

High-Quality Stuff, Dude.

Well, despite having Cartoon Network and Toonami wreck my attitude towards DBZ some time ago by getting to a huge cliffhanger then going back to the very first episode, I really enjoyed this movie.

The graphics were great - you obviously have quite the talent for art, and that was the most accurate depiction of the DBZ characters I've seen in a LONG time.

The sound could have done with being a little louder, but that doesn't take anything away from the fact that your choice of clips was extremely clever and well thought-out. Either this was sound from an episode that was actually about a lightbulb (that I missed), or you managed to select clips that fitted the storyline of the joke flawlessly. I'm betting it was the latter, since even the writers of DBZ would have trouble justifying ten episodes of powering-up and flashbacks for a lightbulb. ;)

Violence: implied but not seen, hence the '2'.

Interactivity: It had a play button, which is more of a courtesy than a lot of film makers see fit to grant.

The humour was very well done too - the whole thing flowed nicely, and whilst there was no big fanfare at the end of the joke, it had a definite punchline that came just at the right time. I've seen a lot of jokes ruined because they either went on too long, or crammed too much joke into too little space, causing the punchline to feel more like an anti-climax.

Overall, a great movie - I've added you to my favourites list, and I hope to see more stuff from you. Also, I've submitted this to the DBZ collection; it deserves a place there. :)

Thank you. Reading reviews like yours makes it all worth while. and much more rewarding. Thanks again!

Short, but very well done

I gotta admit, the characters as well as the settings look very close to the original cartoon. What's also cool is this author used real voice clips and music by Bruce Faulconer from the show for the audio. Very well done.
