Reviews for "Squibblez - Hill"

Surprising

I'll admit, I was skeptical right from the start. To be honest, I prefer it when some details are actually written in the description box at the beginning. And then I started watching, and my heart sank further. Circles. Extremely simplistic animation. Things weren't looking hopeful.

But now, looking back with the advantage of hindsight... it was perfect. The simplistic animation suited the overall style of the flash, and the message was delivered well. And people can say what they like about voice acting and lip sync, but it actually wouldn't work as well like that, I think. And even the speed of the story, which was rather slow, served as a good build up to the end message.

So yeah, I know this is the kind of flash that people complain about. People can moan about the lack of fancy animation and sound. But screw them. This was great. Nicely done.

Yeah, Ok

It was really smooth, but then I guess that it was a simple flash, a suggestion:

In the '90 years later' thing, it takes too long, I , managed to read it 6 times before it changed.

It was Ok, overall

Doink14 responds:

Well you can read then but others cant. :)

Nice short... but...

Maybe you should adjust the siund a little... my ears are deaf now...

Doink14 responds:

thats not my fault!

turn your fricken speakers down...

Pretty crap,

But the end joke was enough for me to give it a 2.

I'm sure if you voiced it, reanimated it and changed the script (exeption with the end joke), it could actully be a good flash.

If this gets blamed, try it again with more effort.

2/5

the key to good humour is the pause.

WUUU ANOTHER ONE!

Oh now I get it. It's not art. It's social commentary! Am I right or what?

Doink14 responds:

Partly, i dont try and make art, art isnt about how it looks, its the story.
