Reviews for "Reading Rainbow (Spanish)"

funny

this was good right here, with a small amount of new animation!

Hilarious

Excellent job with this flash. It's a great idea for a humorous show, maybe you should pitch it? J/k... anyway, the only thing I would do differently is either find a text-to-speech translator that has different voices or find someone who can pronounce the script for your movie so that everyone's voice isn't the same. I could even read it for you if you chose to do another episode or a remake. Sometimes the voice in the movie would become too garbled to understand.... finally... hilarious shit man.

Don't pretend, LEARN SOME FUCKING SPANISH!

Look, It's a very funny idea. (the english version anyway) But at least make the slight attempt of learning some spanish!! God damn! it sounds like it's coming from a pathetic ignorant who learned spanish from reading Taco-Bell's drive-through fucking menu!!!!

Also along those lines it's biased & racist...
Perhaps you found it a funny stereotype to make all the spanish speakers darker skinned... (so whatever, not taken seriously it can be funny, I'll give you that much) So maybe most of the darker skinned illegal mexicans you see around you make up your spectrum of latin America. But damnit son, that's a stereotype. There are more latins whiter than the average "american", than there are as those you can see in fucking SouthPark.
It just pisses me off that such a cool country is plagued with so many retards...

"be cool, & go to fucking school!"

JeremyLokken responds:

So you do admit that it was a funny attempt? It is hilarious. It is also a white man's attempt at a spanish version animation. I asked myself, why do I have to change the vocals only? Why not change the whole aspect of it? Brilliant.

El mejor pelicula de Flash! Excelente!

Me gusta mucho! Muy comico! EspaƱol es la mejor idioma.

Heeeelarious

Two major innovations in comedy have come about in the last few years:
- bleeping out innoucous words and phrases in everyday TV shows to make them appear profane (I first saw this on a TV Land commercial a la Andy Griffith Show)
- using a computer to translate English into another language and then back into English
(SNL did something like this in a Teeny Cafe sketch with that song "Feelings")
It takes a genius like Jeremy to combine these two comedic elements, then throw in a ludicrously accelerated Spanish speech synthesizer. I actually saw this before RR1, but it only got funnier once I noticed the effort that was made trying to give this a Latin flavor. A+
