Reviews for "Goo - Part 1"

a gem

This is the most unique flick I have seen on newgrounds. Instead of another massacre of stickmen or celebrity mockery, this work does something foreign to the majority - it sends a message. And the true existence and relevancy of this message is made apparent by the lack of a necessity for it to be conveyed through words, save for the 'no bouncing' sign that encompasses an entire realm of human aim and mind. Much enjoyed.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

One question first...how long did you spend in the bathroom with a mic recording those sound effects?

A few things, son...

A: You did the cardinal sin in filmmaking...you bored the audience. About 2 minutes in, I was waiting for it to end. And it never did. And it still never did. Finally it did, but I wouldn't have known...I was sleeping.

B: It was repetitive. The background music was like Stanley Kubrick on crack.

C: The ending was extremely anti-climactic. I was waiting for SOMETHING to happen...anything...and...it never happened.

D: What is a no bouncing sign?

That was great it was a cute little blob!

That was neat make more.

Amazing tech test

This is animation in one of its purest forms, where the visuals tell the story, and everything else takes the backseat. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This one does for the most part. On the other hand, since this really was more of an animation test, it probably could have worked if it was shorter, you probably would have been able to pack more effects in there. story wise, i actually think it was paced pretty decently, and while it did not grab me per se, it was very appropriate.

very cute, something to the tune of Pixar's earlier shorts.

awesome..

The movie was like watching fire
