I HATE/LOVE DREAMS!
So me and my friend have peiced this toghether. KEEP ON MIND THIS IS JUST A DREAM...BUT...
The old man in the begining is the dad, more on that later. the child is himself, the crazy murderer is him as an adult. in the begining the man seems to be shocked while looking at the "flame" almost as if he is able to see this shit happining.
the whole trapped in the room thing and being scared could be like being out in the real world for the first time, not knowing what to do, and feeling like your trapped in a pattern of shit that you hate.
the "murderer" is just as confused and scared as his child counterpart. i just can't figure out why he is killing people...or rather just smashing peoples heads with a hammer...i have no idea..yet.
so the whiney voice thing is why i figured there both the same person. maybe he drifted through life never knowing his father, and killed people because of it...i don't know!
he just straight up askes the child if he has seen his father, and he never hurts the little boy, but if you'll notice at the end on the "alter" if you will, he had the heads of a bunch of other kids. and the end where he tells the kid he forgot his hammer...but its ok, they make those out of wood right?...yes. WTF?!?!
the future, where the dad is, is a very dark place, like thers no one there left but him.
i don't know man...but i feel you're pain david...i have dreams that leave me uneasy the whole day after i wake up. i just wish i was able to draw and then i would be able to put some of my dreams down.
