YOu hated Sin City because of its dialogue...
WHAT THE HELL DID YOU EXPECT? Its based on a comic! I'm sorry but its cause of poeple like you and your shitty screen writer friend, independent small films do not get the credit they deserve. Screenwriters like your freinds make the shittiest and most boing screenplays not adapt for film and as a result give small films a bad name. If you were to murder your screenwriter friend I think you would be doing the Film industry a giant favor.
