Reviews for "Projectiles"

wow! wow! FUN!!!!

Wow. That's all I gotta say. Your game deserves way more credit and attention than it already has.....this is so much fun I could play with this little toy for hours! It seems like a lot of work went into the various things you can shoot out of the cannon, and the measuring tape is a really cool little gadget to have in the game, the zoom in and out are amazing, its so cool how you can zoom so far out then see objects flight paths from really high speeds! this is really awesome! I am adding this to my favorites. :D

Metal-Chuy responds:

That's appreciated. The original concept was just to make a simple simulation about projectiles where you could see different variables change in real time. However, ideas kept popping up, teachers suggested to add this and that etc, and so what you see now is a version with lots of…extras… On a side note, one user just “broke” the game by inputting 9999 for the initial speed.

Good!

im into science :)

well then i liked it!

its all cool makes you think how to shoot a ball from a cannon ball into a little target! good job 5 for you!

Metal-Chuy responds:

Not only a ball but a human as well...Nice.

damn

if only i could use this on my next physics test.

Metal-Chuy responds:

hhmm you could download the file to your PSP and then... you know the rest
Or you could save this page address and view it on your cell phone while taking the test. There are endless possibilities here.

This was amazing.

I am a huge fan of physics, it was my best subject back in highschool. I have to say, you really know your shit. What I would really love to see is a flash calculator for physics. If you could make an interactive cheat sheet where you could input various data into the equations, and then have the action script solve it, that would be extremely helpful for students all over the world. Keep it up man, I gave you a 5.

Metal-Chuy responds:

Hey thanks man. I enjoy physics as well so creating the code for this game really made me look at my high school books again. Remember all those formulas with some crazy stuff like sine's and cosines? All that is now turned into action scripting. As for the cheat sheet, I guess it could be done, but teachers always want to see “your work” when you turn in homework…..

Wow this really is something else.

I must say I amazed, not only is this game actaully fun but it is educational, intelligent, and classy this is exactly the sort of thing this site needs more of, at least thats what I would say if I was a parent. No but seriously though this game really is cool, and acurate. Great job!

Metal-Chuy responds:

Thanks. Yeah, this game certainly is an educational one. I thought uploading it on Newgrounds would provide all sorts of feedbacks and Newgrounds is definitely doing so.
