Graphics aren't everything...
I think there's a trend nowadays to rate games based on graphics. It doesn't matter how dull they are, if they have great graphics, it's a best-seller!
I think this is the downfall of the gaming industry. NES fans who still play the old games do so for one reason: they're fun.
Having said that, I think your game epitomizes the classic fun adventure genre. The graphics are really lame, yes, but it's almost as if it's fitting to the theme. Face it, the whole storyline is lame! Wasn't Pac-Man's storyline lame???
I can't see this game having good graphics and maintaining the level of fun that it did for me. And honestly, unless it's an rpg, nobody pays much attention to the storyline anyway.
But this game is FUN! It's honestly, truly fun!! It's addicting fun too, like a crack sandwich. Not that I've ever done crack, but I'd imagine it's similar. Imagine, not just crack, but a CRACK SANDWICH!!! :-P
Anyway, I think your game is underrated. I thank you for it and hope you make more someday. All my 5 are belong to this!

I played this before =D it wasnt on newgrounds, and it also had a smaller screen size -_- BUT i loved this game. it got hard somewhere while level 2. but i must suck or this game is hard. good job!!!!!! make another maybe but easier :P

THIS GAME SUCKS, LIKE REALLY BAD.
I CANT SEE ALL THE SCREEN SO I DONT KNOW WHERE TO EXIT.
AND ITS HARD TO MOVE AROUND.
AND THE ANIMATING LOOKS REALLY OLD.
BUT I HAVE TO GIVE YOU CREDIT, IT IS PRETTY CHALLENGING.MENTALLY.
