Reviews for "TLOZ:Link meets MM 2"

Finally...a Link flash

Zelda based sprite flashes never get too much play on this site so it was nice to see one. Good references were made to the zelda game like when Link was called the Hero of Time and got the triforce. I thought it was a little unlike link when he commented and said what he was feeling. To stay true to Link's character, he shouldn't say too much and remain mysterious. Also, there were some "akward" moments where the screen would stay black or you would just see link standing there waiting for the next enemy. But other than that i loved watching it. Great Job!!

ShinjitsuXero responds:

Hahaha! Funny. he really doesn't talk, but it would have sucked if he hadn't.

Good stuff

I like series like these.
This was well done.
Keep makin em.

Allow me to quote the flash itself ...

"This is getting way too boring, way too fast."

Sprite movies that takes themselves seriously are like watching someone else play a video game: not really all that entertaining.

Graphically it's okay, but ... it's not pretty enough to make up for the sheer boringness of the thing.

ShinjitsuXero responds:

Heh. So you DON'T like serious flash movies. Go watch 'A big black guy named Bass'. It's hilarious.

Near perfection!

VEry good for a sprite animation. I was a little put out by the grammer, but was won over by the music and sprites.(BTW.... custom sprites?)

ShinjitsuXero responds:

Yep. Custom sprites, courtesy of the ShyGuy Kingdom. lol

Not bad

The animating, at least, was pretty good, even if it was kinda slow at times....

I find it interesting that you said that watching the first would make this less confusing, 'cause it kinda actually makes it MORE confusing. In the first one, it's like he's there by accident, but now they've brought him here to save them or something, but at the same time he just HAPPENS to be on a mystical quest against the same robot?
In short, it's fine animation-wise, but plot-wise, it kinda feels like it was thrown together...sorry....

Oh, and on just a side note, it's wierd as all bejeezus to hear Megaman talk like that. "How do you think he would fare?" and stuff. It seems too.... archaic for him. That's not important, though, I guess...

ShinjitsuXero responds:

I made 'em talk like that for seriousness, and thank you for your honesty.
