Fun, but flawed.
Games of Gondor continues to impress with great visuals, but, ultimately, their latest Flash has glaring problems like the rest.
The Games of Gondor staff needs to realize that people don't intend to play Flash games for long periods of time. Therefore, it's better to make a game "short and sweet" instead of drawn out and frustrating.
First, the gameplay has some serious issues. The introduction cannot be skipped, which immediately discourages more than two attempts. Second, the game does not register every pressed key, so the player's forced to lose health just because the Space Bar simply won't respond. The battles have an arcade feel, but the higher difficulties overwhelm the player at impossible speeds, guaranteeing failure.
Basically, Games of Gondor's staff needs to spend more time play-testing their Flash's instead of just simply submitting them. When making a game for Flash, it's vital to make the gameplay as solid as possible first. I recommend NewGrounds users stay away from this game to prevent unnecessary frustration.

1. space only doesnt respond if you try and use it twice in 2seconds, this is to stop crappy players just holding it down. its possible to get through hard mode with just the mouse.
2. completing easy/medium places a skip buton on the intro and story, but your right, i'll place one on for when you die tonight.

I am deeply fan of metroid, ive played all games so im not a noob in the thing. Man this movie has so much things that i dont know where to start.
*The music:
Im really surprised by the main theme. It was a masterpiece. A pure remake of the metroid zero mission theme, i want to download it and hear it ^^!!. The guitar was excellent and had an awsome rythm. I would like to know who was the author of that part. The theme at the game wasnt that great. It sounded a lil bit like midi. However it was well done and had a variety of techno sounds. The music at the fight gaints meta redley was awsome loved it. The ending music was excellent. That guitar owned. Had the same style as the intro music.
*The gameplay:
the gameplay was pure ownage. Very adictive and "bugless". Kudos for the programer who did it. Neat use of action script. It was an awsome idea to add the space bar as defence gaints the metroids attached. The difficulty was decent. I beated very easyly the hard mode, but thats cause i have a progaming style in some RTS games and that requires high speed with the mouse (starcraft).
Kudos for gameplay awsome job here.
*The storyline:
Whoever wrote it, it was pure genius. The idea of making the "newgrounds" planet something 5 was pure genieus. The fulpilian (sorry i played just once in hard mode ^^ so i dont remember) something institure was pure ownage. Where those characters (the bodies) the ng staff? hehe i wouldnt b surprised if they where. The design of the "map" i would say was really awsome, and copied exactly the metroid prime style. Excellent job. the storyline owned.
*The graphics:
Now, here was the problem. Despite the great storyline, music n gameplay, i was not 100% satisfied with em. The samus ship, meta-redley and samus design could be better. If graphics where better im sure that this movie would have 5 as score. I would like to help next time doing some of the drawings, i could make some of the backgrounds in photoshop so you can have a real Good game. its just 1,7 kb theres way more room for improvement!!
*the extras:
All ur base n numa numa pwned. The sprites where well used and i liked the eyebrow of samus at the end of the numanuma. Pure ownage. 10/10 in humor haha
