Hm.
I was diggin' the song during this tutorial, so that's a plus. As someone who's never created a Flash movie, let alone a platform game, however, I'm not really interested in someone giving me code to copy and paste into a new movie. I think any tutorial should focus on actually providing comprehension to a new user. You should take the viewer step-by-step through the code so that he or she understands how and why it works. That way, the viewer can do unique and creative things with his or her knowledge of the code.

Thats last script you had on there isnt the same script you used for the mario example at the end is it? Because there isnt a part in the script for when you press A, but the rest works ok, just it would be nice if you had that part i mentioned

This is I'm afraid a pretty bad platform tutorial.
The whole gravity system sucks and you can fly forever. It makes me angry that people even bother posting such crap on a great place like Newgrounds.
Sorry for the harsh words but this is kinda crap...
