i had to vote to blam this. not because it is too bad. i mean nobody knows how to do buttons when they start flash. but man, there are like 20389723 of these "button"tutorials here on newgrounds.

Bill's Button Tutorial is aimed at newbies but suffers from errors. It really needs a preloader at the start. You should be able to copy the AS scripts and have them function.
