Reviews for "Nocturne Op.37 No.1 in G minor"

I love this illustration. The color scheme compliments the mood (somber, lazy) very well. Your technique with lines is excellent, and the simplistic feel is very attractive. The only improvements I would make would be to give the cat some color i.e. use some that pale orange you used for the sunlight or use a variant of the orange to stay true to the color scheme. Great work!

Aigis responds:

Maybe you're right. Thanks!

I love just about everything in this piece, the lighting, the character design, the color scheme, and the detail. This room also looks a lot like my room (minus the trash-can and my walls are more of a cherry red). Kudos to you, sir!

Aigis responds:

Thank you!

Very clean line work, though your title confuses me. I'm listening to Chopin's piece right now and honestly can't see how it fits this image. What this image is conveying to me is a normal scene on an average day where a teenager is watching some show on her PC. Which, by the way, I always find mildly interesting, like peering into a scene of someone's life, I could see myself in the exact same position. However, Chopin's piece for me, is slow, relaxing and soothing, this image isn't exactly that. Though the character does seem kind of relaxed, actually, she seems rather bored or apathetic, I suppose the scene as a whole could be viewed as relaxed though.

Regardless, its a nice piece either way, and thank you for showing me Op.37, I was listening to another Nocturne (can't remember which Op., something from Vol. 1) earlier today but I think I like this one better.

Aigis responds:

Thanks! I was thinking more of a sunrise than daytime, with the sun creeping in through the window after a night spent on the computer. The piece felt right to me for the tone of the image, but then, to be fair, I wouldn't call myself well-versed in classical music.

Great work with the color it's very subdued. The perspective is good and your line-work is very clean.

Aigis responds:

Thank you!

what are you trying to tell me artist
