Reviews for "Herd (Full)"

Sound really does make it better.

I have to say i played this version alot longer then the other one. The music just spers (spelling?) you on to play more. I will attempt at making the top score board here soon. i will be playing Skydrive, may favorite one. And by reading some of the reviews i can see some people did not come to realize that you can control the sheep and stuff. Good game. :>

Denvish responds:

Yeah, Skydrive is my favourite too.
As for people not realising - well, it's all there on the title screen. I have no instant cure for illiteracy =D

Good game

This is very nicely done, Den. But jeez, man, it's way too hard! There isn't nearly enough time allowed. Crissakes, dude, my stupid sheeps is running every damned whichaway like they're cranked up on meth, and poor Shep is running his poor old legs off intercepting wolves, and the frickin portal keeps moving around on me. It would be a helluva lot more fun if the early stages gave you a lot more time to work with.
Is there any way to slow the gameplay down? It's just too fucking hectic for me to keep up with.
Still a good game though. Nice work.

Denvish responds:

Thanks. You're the first to say it's too hard. I love your description of the gameplay, though. Unfortunately, there is no way to 'throttle' it besides playing it on a shitty PC...

Nice.

Good graphics, sound, and overall concept, but in my opinion it gets boring after a little bit. Maybe its just me and my amazingly short attention span. Maybe not. Well, good game.

Denvish responds:

Thanks... wait, are you still listening?

YAY Denvish!

I remember seeing this game and the preloader on the BBS. Thought they were great, good seeing this in the portal! Can't find problems (if any) on my watch. Good job as always.

Denvish responds:

Thanks :)
Yeah, it's been hanging around for a little while, getting refined and stuff. I'm glad to see the back of it though...

I liked it.

Took a while before i got the hang of it, but in the end it worked out just fine.

Maybe put in a little tutorial?!

Denvish responds:

I'll be honest, I don't intend to do any more work on this now - apart from the fact that I'm sick of the sight of the code & the game, I have other ideas and games I need to be working on.
I guess people can just do what you did, and play with it a little until they get used to it; it's not that complicated, and there's always the 'RESET' button =)
